Mary Lou (Kelly) Tregunno
Mary Lou (Kelly) Tregunno of
Riverview, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Monday,
February 25, 2019 with her daughters by her
side.
She grew up in Bridgewater,
Nova Scotia and was the daughter of the late George and Ruth (Sayer)
Kelly. Mary Lou trained at the Halifax Infirmary and worked as an RN
in Halifax, Charlottetown and Summerside before retiring from the
Moncton Hospital.
A devoted member of the
Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, she served in the
ladies’ society and volunteered with pastoral care. She was
an active member of the local PROBUS (Professional Business
Women’s Club) and past president of the Moncton Ladies Dart
League.
Mary Lou will be dearly missed
by her daughters, Laura MacMaster (Larry) of Cole Harbour, Janet Tree
(Jim) of Fredericton; grandsons Chris, Andrew and Bradley MacMaster
and Robbie and Alex Tree whom she adored; sisters Laura Butler (Peter)
of Halifax, NS, Pat Cianfaglione (late Frank) of Ottawa, ON, Fran
Kelly of Lawrencetown, NS and Bernadette Kelly-Hunking of Toronto, ON
as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family
members.
In addition to her parents,
she was predeceased by husband Norman Tregunno (2017); infant son
Gregory and brother George
Kelly.
The family would like to thank
the nurses on unit 4600 at the Moncton City Hospital, her Bayshore
care provider, Robin and Mary Lou’s friends and neighbours
whose assistance enabled her to remain living in her home until her
recent hospital stay.
Visitation at
Ferguson’s Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton
(858-1995) on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Parish
prayers and Sharing of Memories will take place on Friday at 8:30 pm
at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate
Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, 5 Fatima Drive, Riverview on
Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 11:00 with Rev. Charles Broderick
presiding. Reception to follow the mass. Interment will be held in
Alderwood Cemetery at a later
date.

Catholic Church, Riverview or a memorial of the donor’s
