It is with sadness that
the family of the late MARY CHEESEMAN of
Rushoon announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care
Center in Burin on Wednesday, February 13th at the age of
88. Leaving to mourn with broken hearts are; sons, Frederick
of Rushoon, James (Maureen) of Rushoon, Joseph Jr. (Jessie) of Whitby,
On, Howard (Michael O’Keefe) of St. John’s, Aiden
of Rushoon; daughters, Marie Schembri (Emanuel) of Toronto, On,
Gertrude Rickets (Terry) of St. John’s; sister, Susan Norman
(Fred) of St. John’s; brother, Michael Dicks (Priscilla) of
Rushoon; sister-in-law, Adele Cheeseman; 17 grandchildren; 25
great-grandchildren; plus a large circle of extended family
and friends.
Mary was predeceased by
her husband Joseph, her parents Christopher & Mary Dicks;
daughter, Gertie; sons, Michael, Gerard; daughter-in-law, Bernadette;
sisters-in-law, Laura, Irene, Hannah, Annie, Melinda, Elizabeth;
brothers-in-law, Charlie, Frederick, Daniel, John, and Eric.
The Cheeseman Family will be accepting visitors at
Christ the King Roman Catholic Church in Rushoon at a date and time to
be announced where the Mass of Christian Burial will take place at a
time and date to be
announced.
In Mary’s memory, donations may be made to
the Alzheimer’s Society or flowers gratefully
accepted.
