Obituary for
Martin Louis Sayazie
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Martin Louis Sayazie, late of Martin Black Lake, SK, on February 3, 2019. Martin was born on March 29, 1943 to parents Pierre and Sarah, in Stoney Rapids, SK.
Martin is survived by his daughter: Trina & kid (Corey); his niece: Rose (Delbert) kids; his step-children: Willy John (Helen), Harvey (Branda), Rosanna (Donald), Mary Rose (Darran), Lena (Gilbert) and Rosine kids. Martin is predeceased by his wife: Agathe Sayazie; his parents: Pierre and Sarah; his brothers and sisters: Christine (Johnny) Medal, Madeline (Edward) Boneleye, Mary Rose (Armand Robillard), Germaine (Alfred) Cook, Alphonse and Armand Sayazie (Sr & Jr), Pauline Sayazie and Mag Sayazie.
Martin will be remembered as everyone’s uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. He was well known and had many friends in Black Lake, Stony Rapids, Fond Du Lac, Wollaston, and all over Saskatchewan and homecare nurses.
A Visitation will take place on Tuesday February 5, 2019 at 12:00pm, at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel in Prince Albert, SK. A Wake Service will be held on Tuesday February 5, 2019 at 6:00pm, located at the Residence of Martin Sayazie at Lake Trout Avenue #14 in Black Lake, SK. A Funeral Service will follow on Friday February 8, 2019 at 2:00pm at Our Lady of the Cape Roman Catholic Church in Black Lake, SK. Arrangements in care of MacKenzie Chapel & Crematorium.
