Margaret Frances Rumley 2019

OBITUARY
Margaret Frances Rumley
September 29, 1947 – January 29, 2019
Age 71, passed away peacefully in Halifax on January 29, 2019 with her family by her side.
Born in San Diego, California, to the late Harry and Katherine (Bowden) Faulconer. Margot met her husband, Carl, while they attended San Diego State University in 1966, married in December 1968, and moved to Canada in September 1969.
Margot had many interests including her love of the French language, obtaining degrees from both Concordia and Lakehead University. Music was also a lifelong love expressed through her piano playing and choral singing. A good deal of her life outside her family centered on community non-profit organizations as a volunteer or staff administrator in areas that included education, the arts, sport and tourism.
Margot is survived by her husband Carl, son Russell (Kate), daughter Rachel (Chris Giacomantonio) and grandson Jacob. Also surviving are brother Keith Faulconer, sister A.T. Lynne, and nephews Joshua Faulconer and Ave Singh. She was predeceased by sister Tracey Faulconer and niece Heather Avery. It was Margot’s wish that there be no service at this time, but a celebration of her life to be held at a later time in the Spring.
Funeral arrangements are under the care of J.A. Snow Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of choice. Online condolences may be made at: www.jasnowfuneralhome.com.
