Our beloved Lillian passed away peacefully on February 26, 2019 at the tender age of 89. She will be lovingly missed by her devoted husband Jim of 61 years; son Corrie (Lisa); daughter Cindy (Colin); five grandchildren: Allison (Cameron), Kaleigh, Thomas, Ashlyn, Alexa; two great-grandchildren: Ryder and Sienna; four sisters: Anne, Irene, Dorothy and Betty (Don); brother George (Olive); and many beautiful nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her twin Lucy, sisters Margaret, Sheila and Helen, and her brother Bill. Lillian loved nothing more than spending time with her children and grandchildren. For the last ten years Jim and Lil spent their days out in the community lunching at Tim’s, walking laps and visiting friends at Orchard Park Mall. Her feisty spirit and fierce love for her family will be deeply missed by all who know her and love her.
The wind will forever whisper her name.
A celebration of Lillian’s life will be held in Kelowna and Calgary at later dates. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to The Ronald McDonald House, rmhcna.org/donate/personal-giving/?
