Kathy Wierenga, 51, of Stratford passed away peacefully at Sakura House, Woodstock on Wednesday, February 13, 2019
Beloved wife of Brian Wierenga. «Proud Loving» mother of Kaitlyn and Victoria. Dear sister of David Diehl (Wendy), Doug Diehl (Brenda) and Rob Diehl (Kara). Dear daughter-in-law of Ed and Ruth Wierenga. Dear sister-in-law of Esther, Rita, Teresa and Katherine. Also surviving are her nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Nelson and Donna Diehl.
Kathy provided home day care over the years and will be missed by the many children and their families she cared for.
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Friday, February 15, 2019 from 5-8 p.m. The funeral service will take place at Second St. John’s Lutheran Church, Wartburg on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow.
