GOOD: Joyce Hazel (nee Platt)
Passed away at P.R.H.C. on Saturday February 16, 2019. Joyce Good of Lakefield in her 88th year. Joyce was a kindergarten teacher at Huron Street School, Toronto before devoting her full-time attention to her family and community. Loved and missed by her husband of 63 years, John Good. Also missed by her children John Good (Doug Andrews) of Warsaw, Kathy Cox (Ken) of Port Severn and Jenny McFarlane (Joe) of Prescott. Loving grandmother of Lindsey and Ryan Cox, Jamie, Hallie & Charleigh McFarlane. Survived by her brother John Platt (Valerie) and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Norman Platt & Hazel Page. A private family service has taken place. A spring-time memorial service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield on Saturday April 6, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the Funeral Home. Interment Hillside Cemetery.
