It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Wade Jaffray.
John was born on June 23rd 1942 in Leaside, Ontario. He died on February 22nd 2019 at Royal Victoria Health Centre in Barrie surrounded by his family.
John loved boating, fishing and woodworking and was a loving husband to the late Marjory Jaffray (Bowie) as well as a wonderful brother to the late Patricia Pye (Jaffray).
John is predeceased by his mother Rose and father John. He was a wonderful father and Grampa and is survived by his two daughters Kim Tiemersma and Michelle McAllister, son in laws Martin Tiemersma and Fraeser McAllister.
John will be greatly missed by his grandchildren, Abby, Nicolas, Hayden and Sara and his nephew Allan Pye, his wife Kathleen, and was a loving great uncle to Liam, Brady, and baby on the way.
He will be missed by his dog Pete, whom he rescued after he lost his wife Marjory in 2015. Now, John and Marjory can be together again to continue their love story.
