It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Jeffrey James Andrew Richardson, age 58 of Carlingford, who passed away peacefully at the Stratford General Hospital on February 17, 2019.
Born in Stratford, son of the late Laverne and Margaret (Riehl) Richardson. Jim was employed at Cleaver Brooks for many years. His passions were fishing, four-wheeling, campfires, working in his shop and enjoyed the company of his many friends.
Loving brother of Trudy Reiger (Joe), Joe-Ann Robertson (Alex), Laverne Richardson, Rick Richardson, Cindy Richardson, Kimberly Davidson (Pete), Pamela Kittmer (Kevin), Connie Marriott (Al) and Melanie Berger – deceased (Jim). Uncle of Bob Reiger, Tammy Reiger, Sherry Robertson, Jason Robertson (Lisa), Dan Richardson (Becky), Jennifer Cook (Chris), Mandy McQuillan (Rob), Missy Hopkins (Joris), Mandy Bucek (Mark), Ashley Heinbuch (Nolan), Jeremy Berger (Cherise), Jeff Berger (Andrea), Jessica Berger (Norman), Justin Berger, Julie Pehlke (Jason), Jesse Pehlke, Nikki Wettlaufer (Dan) and Cherissa Kittmer and their families. Also survived by aunts Bonnie Plummer and Vera Pflance and many cousins.
Predeceased by his sister Melanie Berger, brother Randy Richardson, niece Tanya Richardson, sister-in-law Barbara Marquette, aunt Ruth Coulthard, uncle Wayne Riehl and his pets Maggie and Amber.
Visitation at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Thursday, February 21, from 4-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, February 22, at 3 p.m. A reception will be held at the funeral home following the interment at Avondale Cemetery.
