Obituary of Janice Pearson
Janice passed away peacefully after a long struggle with Huntington’s Disease at Columbia Forest Long Term Care in Waterloo on Monday, February 25, 2019 in her 63rd year.
Prior to her illness, Janice was a nurse at Grand River Hospital in Kitchener.
Beloved wife of Gary Pearson and loving mother of Stephanie Hargest. Janice is remembered by her in-laws Frank and Barb Pearson, Cathy Pearson, Amy White (predeceased by husband Bill), Diane and Roger Robert, Donna and Elio Rotondi, several nieces and nephews, and her extended family in the Manitoulin area.
Predeceased by her son Ryan Hargest and parents Delbert and Murlean Chatwell.
Janice’s family extends a special thank you to the staff of Columbia Forest for their loving care provided over the past several years.
Janice’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, March 1, 2019 from 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday, March 2, 2019 from 12:30 – 1:15 p.m. A memorial service to celebrate Janice’s life will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. A reception will immediately follow in the funeral home’s Fireside Room. Interment will be held at Memory Gardens, Breslau at a later date.
