Peacefully entered into rest at the Kingston General Hospital on Tuesday, February 26th, 2019. Janet Edwards of Gananoque died at the age of 81. She was the daughter of the late William & Alice Parkin (nee Lacey) and wife of the late Richard Edwards. Janet was the loving mother of Stephen (Mary Ellen) of Foxboro, Nicola Edwards-Carswell (Bill), Richard (Jennifer) all of Belleville and Robert (Krista) of Airdrie, Alberta and remembered by her former daughter-in-law Tracey Edwards. She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Christopher, Gillian (Jason), Matthew, Jonathan, Richard and Ericka and her great granddaughter Frances. Janet was the companion of Harold Miller of Gananoque.
In keeping with Janet’s wishes, cremation has taken place under the care of John R. Bush Funeral Home, 80 Highland Avenue, Belleville (613-968-5588) and a Celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Spring inurnment at Belleville Cemetery.
