On January 28, 2019, age 28, our warrior lay down his shield, peacefully surrounded by his family, at Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital, after a valiant 14 month battle with Epithelioid Sarcoma cancer. James, beloved son of Philip Moreau and Diana Weigel-Moreau, adored brother and protector of Michelle (Mark), Nicholas and Rianna and nephew of his late Uncle Gerd. He will be sadly missed by his Auntie Irene Moreau (late Erik Marx), cousins Shane and Erica, Laurie (Erek), Eric (Samanta), baby Gavin, Sylvie and Josée. James will be sorely missed by Cory, Chris, Dylan and Spencer and our many wonderful friends. James loved his family and friends, snowboarding, skateboarding, longboarding, hockey, soccer, going to the lake, ping pong, Clash Royale, and Jawz, his dog. We can learn a lot from the way James lived; full throttle and fearless, from bone crushing body checks, snowboard 360’s, airborne soccer strikes, to a run down ‘‘Handle-Bar-Hill.’’
