Peacefully at Hillsdale Estates in Oshawa on Thursday, February 21st, 2019. Ethel, in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Frederick Albert Hockett (2000). Survived by her sister, Isobel Truckle of Lindsay. Predeceased by brother William Welsh of Bobcaygeon, Gladys Stefiuk of Maple Ridge, BC and Hazel Beshong of Toronto. Remembered by Phyllis (late Robert) Brown of Scarborough, Gloria (David) Vanson of Picton and many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and their families. Relatives and friends may call at McINTOSH-ANDERSON-KELLAM FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Wednesday from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Salvation Army – Oshawa Temple, 570 Thornton Rd. N., Oshawa on Thursday, February 28th, 2019 at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at the cemetery. Donations in memory of Ethel to the Salvation Army, the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated.
