Gordon «Keith» Wilbur
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on February 13, 2019. Loving husband of 62 years of Claire (nee Mayea). Cherished and devoted father of Michael (Karen), David (Cathy), Dennis (1990), Charlene Coughlin (Jim), Keith (Lisa), Mary Kay Hansen (Chris) and Mary Beth Scott. Adored Pépé of his grandchildren, Tom (Shawna), Anne (Reg), Trisha, Christopher (Katie), Rose (Vidoje), Sean (Hillary), Brendan, Ryan (Emily), Joshua, Jeremiah, Stephen, Kaleb, Tyler (Leah), Sarah, Jessica and Josie and great-grandchildren Lilly, Evan, Ilija, Aleksandar, Andrija and Savannah. Loving son of the late Gordon and Lillian Wilbur. Brother of the late Murray Wilbur, Betty Muldoon, and Nancy Graber (Don). Brother-in-law of the late Rita and Syd Perreault, Dorothy Soulliere (late Leo), Pauline Soulliere (late Blaise), Ed Mayea (late Theresa), John and Agnes Mayea and Sue Humphries. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Keith was a retired teacher with the Windsor Separate School Board. He devoted much of his time to the service of others. He was a strong advocate of the sanctity of human life from conception to natural death. He was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society, the Knights of Columbus Bishop John T. Kidd Council #4924, and the Riverside Sportsmen’s Club. He was a Director of the Windsor Family Credit Union for many years, and past Director of Heartcare Windsor. If you so desire, donations to The St. Vincent de Paul Society or the Katelyn Bedard Bone Marrow Association would be appreciated by the family. Visiting on Sunday, February 17, 2019 from 3:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. at FAMILIES FIRST, 1065 Lauzon Rd., East Windsor, 519-969-5841. Knights of Columbus John T. Kidd Council #4924 prayers at 4:30 p.m. On Monday, February 18, 2019, family and friends are invited to gather directly at St. John Vianney Church, 385 Dieppe Street, after 1:00 p.m. until a Funeral Mass in Celebration of Keith’s Life at 2:00 p.m. Burial to follow at St. Anne Cemetery.
