Gerry Nicholson passed away February 6, 2019 at the age of 80 due to the natural progression of C.O.P.D. Born on September 4,1938, in Baysville, Ontario, she was the first born daughter to Don and Annie Maynard (both pre-deceased). She married her wonderful husband, Bob Nicholson, on September 2, 1960.
Gerry was the beloved sister to Terry Pratt (pre-deceased in 2000). Proud mother of Steve Nicholson (Ana Harcourt) of Toronto, Ontario, and Lori Nicholson (Dave Mortimer) of Huntsville, Ontario. Cherished Grammy to Kailey Fisher (Calvin Connor) of Nanaimo, B.C., Carissa Fisher (Jamie Proulx) of Dartmouth, N.S., and Jay Tarrant of Calgary, Alberta. Dear friend of Vina, Jim, Dave, Lori, & Andy Sinclair, Barry Eeles (pre-deceased), Deulyn Eeles, Kelly Dunklee, Bryan Eeles, Monique Cumming, Bob Paris (pre-deceased), Reggie Paris (pre-deceased), and Sharon Denomme. Gerry was the neighbourhood watch to Eric & Ann Hutley, and beloved School Bus Driver to hundreds of Huntsville children and teens.
In keeping with her wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no service.
However, the immediate family and close friends would like to invite you to an informal visitation….. it’s not a service mom ;), at Fairvern Nursing Home in the Activity Room, on February 19, 2019, from 11:00am to 1:00pm (Access Via the back door, and indoor shoes required). In lieu of flowers, donations to Fairvern Nursing Home would be sincerely appreciated. Donations may be made at the visitation or online at www.billingsleyfuneralhome.com.
