Geoffrey Donald Nunn
1946-2019
It is with
profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dear husband and
father Geoffrey Donald Nunn on February 16, 2019. Following
a long and determined battle with cancer, Geoff was peacefully ushered
into the presence of his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Geoff was born in Upminster, Es, England. He was most
mindful of his British heritage. Left to grieve are his
devoted wife of 43 years, Gloria (Galbraith) and cherished daughter,
Rosemary.
He was deeply
respected at CFM as a tool and die maker and machinist.
Geoff developed many work friendships and was so thankful for the many
visits from «the boys» during his
illness.
Geoff is
survived by his brother, Joseph A. Nunn (Joan) of Billericay, England;
as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Words cannot express
how much he was loved and will be missed. Geoff was
predeceased by his parents, Donald Nunn and Eunice (Felts) Nunn;
brother, Stephen and sister, Miriam (David)
Dickie.
Arrangements
have been entrusted to Brenan’s Bay View
Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, West Saint John
(634-7425) with visitation taking place on Thursday, February 21, 2019
from 5:00 – 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be held from
Brenan’s Bay View Chapel on Friday, February 22, 2019 at
11:00 AM. Interment will take place in Lorneville-Seaview
Cemetery at a later date.
For those who
wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s
choice.
