Gary Edmond Gallop, CWO Ret’d
1961-2019
Following a brief battle with cancer, the passing of Gary
Edmond Gallop, 57, of Burton, NB occurred Sunday, 24 February 2019. He
will be remembered by his family and friends as a loving husband and
devoted father and grandfather.
Gary is survived by his wife Nancy, sons Matthew (Amanda) and
Michael (Virginia), grandson Zander, and brother Lloyd. He was
predeceased by his parents Lloyd and Jean (Sherman)
Gallop.
Gary’s passions included his time in the Canadian
Army Signal Reserves retiring as the Senior Reserve NCM Advisor
Communication Reserve Chief Warrant Officer, the countless hours spent
as a Scout leader with both 1st Oromocto and
14th Fredericton and more recently learning to
run the farm for a more self-sustaining future.
At the request of the family there will be no service however
a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. For those who
wish, donations in Gary’s name may be made to your local
SPCA or a charity of the donor’s choice.
