It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edgar Clarence Parsons announce his passing on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 84 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his sisters: Minnie Gibbons, Plum Point, Edith McDonald, Ottawa, Ont. and Daisy Park, McIvers; sister-in-law Evelyn Parsons, McIvers; nieces: Susan (Jamie), McIvers, Megan (Andrew), St. John’s and Sheena (Dan), Piccadilly; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Jobie and Maud Parsons, brother Levester Parsons, baby brothers John Richard and Cyril Clarence Parsons, sister Eliza Parsons, brothers-in-law Lowell Park and Winston Gibbons. Friends may visit the Epiphany Anglican Church in McIvers Saturday beginning 7:00 p.m. and Sunday from where the funeral service will be held on Monday, February 25 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Malcolm Palmer officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, McIvers. The family guest book may be signed by visiting www.fillatre.ca.
