It is with great sadness that the family of Ed Skura announces the passing of our husband, Dad, and Gigi on February 18, 2019 at the age of 83 years.
Ed is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Evelyn; daughters, Cindy, Corinne (John), and Tammy (Dan); beloved granddaughters, Savannah and Milayna; brother, Ben (Thelma); sisters, Liz Toma and Zoe Morris; brothers-in-law, Lawrence (Eleanor) Batiuk and Leonard Batiuk; sister-in-law, Gloria Skura; and many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Ed was predeceased by his parents, Adam and Sabina; brothers, Sigmund, Roman, and Henry; and sister, Stella Ewasiuk.
Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, February 25 at 10:00 a.m. at Exaltation of the Holy Cross Ukrainian Catholic Church, 9003 – 153 Avenue, Edmonton. Reverend Janko Herbut officiating with interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, 16102 Fort Road NW. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Alberta Lung Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, NWT and Nunavut or Holy Cross Parish.
