After a valiant battle for renewed health, Dawn Teresa Bates Klaver passed away, on Wednesday, February 27, 2019, at London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Hospital. In her 51 years among us, Dawn was a source of love and kindness within the circle of her family and friends. Her radiant smile and friendly demeanor brightened any day. Her talents as an esthetician extended beyond service, as she touched her clients lives in ways beyond the description of words.
Dawn will be lovingly remembered by her husband Matt and their children Brianna, Mikaylee and Kaden. Much loved daughter of William and Gloria Bates and daughter-in-law of Elizabeth Klaver. Fondly remembered by siblings and siblings-in-law Michelle Bates (Wes), Tammy (Ian) Bush, Matt’s large family circle of brothers and sisters, along with many nieces and nephews. In faith, we trust Dawn’s spirit is reunited in eternal life with her mother Sharon (née Pollard) Bates, father-in-law Herman Klaver and all those who have gone on before us.
Visitation will be held at McGlynn Family Funeral Home (519-527-1390), 87 Goderich Street West, Seaforth, on Sunday, March 3, 2019 from 7-9 p.m. and again on Monday, March 4, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A time to seek comfort in our faith, and honour Dawn’s life, will take place at a Mass of Christian Burial at St. James Roman Catholic Church, 22 Victoria Street, Seaforth on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 commencing at 11 a.m. Interment St. Columban Cemetery. A reception will follow at Seaforth Legion, Branch 156, 123 Main Street South, Seaforth.
