Thompson, Dakota Jacob Lee, 26, Truro, passed away Thursday,
February 21, 2019, at home. Born in Truro, he was a son of Douglas
Armsworthy and Cynthia Thompson of Truro Heights.
Besides his parents, he is survived by brothers, Alex and
Chris Thompson of Truro Heights, Sean Brown of Cornwall, ON; sister,
Karlee Brown of Truro Heights; grandfather, Samuel Thompson of North
York, ON; uncle, Shane Thompson and family of Cornwall, ON;
step-father, William Brown of Brookfield.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Carol
Thompson; paternal grandparents Irene and Donald Armsworthy; uncle,
Greg Armsworthy.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Mattatall~Varner
Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, from where visitation will take
place Wednesday, February 27th from 1-1:45 pm,
followed by funeral service at 2 pm. Father Dariusz Miskowicz will
officiate with burial to take place at a later date. Donations in
memory may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association or to a
