Obituary for Mrs. Clara King
King, Clara Edith
It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Clara Edith King, which occurred at Hospice Simcoe February 18th, 2019. She was born in 1917 in Bath, Maine and is the last member from a large family of the late William Joseph and Della (Pearson) King. Clara enjoyed a long and wonderful life, which was constantly surrounded by her family, with whom she was extremely proud. Clara is survived by her daughter Margo Weeks and Danny (Anne) Wilson. Grandchildren include, David (Kelley) Weeks, Greg (Leanne) Weeks, Janine Currant, and Danny (Jen) Wilson. Great Grandchildren include, Sean, Cole, Avery, Mitchell and Cameron Weeks, Christina and Samantha Canning and Kaitlyn Wilson. One Great Great Grandchild, Owen Weeks. Family and friends will be received for a memorial gathering at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., in Barrie on Friday February 22, 2019 from 6 to 8 pm. Many thanks to the excellent care received from the nursing staff at RVH Surgery 2 and Hospice Simcoe. Special Thanks to Dr. Kelly Sowden for her excellent care and kindness.
