Surrounded by those who love her, Brigitta Petra Bokkers, age 54, found her wings into the next life on February 12, 2019 after a joyful, adventurous life.
Beloved wife of Ron Bokkers. Loving daughter of Gordon Koslowski (Liz) and the late Karin Brodauf. Dear sister of Nikole Bingham-Russell (Lee) and forever sisters of the heart, Irene Foster and Angelika Neale. Daughter-in-law of Peter and Annie Bokkers. Sister-in-law of Tony (Sandi), Gary (Pauline), Nancy Hess (J.D.), Pete (Debbie). Cherished aunt of Brad (Lindsey), Nate (Sam), Brent (Cycy), Calvin (Kristin), Korey (Ally), Tyler (Stephanie), Kaitlyn (Kyle), Angela (Dave), Courtney (Dane), Brandon (Molly), Deanna, Michael and 16 great nieces and nephews. Lovingly remembered by uncle Klaus, aunt Brigitta and cousins Franke, Markus (Birgit) and Daniel (Juliana), all of Germany.
Brigitta loved LIFE! This is how she grew her extended family. She loved to travel with Ron on many European trips as well as skiing, music and singing. She was an active member of St. Joseph’s Church, Stratford.
Visitation for family and friends at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Friday, February 15, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers at 1:45 p.m. Friday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church, 96 Huron Street, Stratford on Saturday, February 16, at 10 a.m. Father Dick Bester – celebrant. A reception will be held at the Arden Park Hotel, 552 Ontario Street, Stratford following the interment at Avondale Cemetery.
