Obituary for Betty Sambell
Died peacefully with her son Peter by her side at Fiddick’s Nursing Home, Petrolia on Sunday, February 3, 2019. Born in England, BETTY SAMBELL (nee Smith), 91 years, was of Petrolia. Betty was a loving wife to the late John (2000). She will be missed by her children Peter and Brenda Sambell, Anne and the late Ken Simpson, Barry and the late Pat Sambell, and Michael Sambell. Betty was a loved to grandmother Melissa and Shannon Hilton, Tammy and Mike Scott, Kristina Migchelson, Rhonda Wallis, Elysha Sambell, Nicole Sambell, and Lindsey Wallis and great grandmother to Jonathan, Brianna, Hailie, Hunter, Emma, Tyler, and Jaxon. She will also be missed by her sister Jill Archer of London, England. She is predeceased by her parents Sidney and Maud Smith. A service will be held on Friday, February 9, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from the Needham-Jay Funeral Home, 4059 Petrolia Line, Petrolia. Visitors will be received prior to the service from 1 to 1:45 p.m. Cremation will follow with Interment in Hillsdale Cemetery, Petrolia.
