Obituary for
Winifred Dorothy Gibson (Culver)
Winifred (Wynne) Dorothy Gibson (née Culver) in her 97th year.
First born of three to Morris William and Winifred Culver in Toronto.
Predeceased by her sister Lily in 2001 and her brother Morris Charles in 2000.
She is fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews who knew her as, «Good Ol’ Aunt Wynne» due to her youthful outlook and her love for children and her artistic flair.
She dabbled in several of «The Arts» and also was an accomplished seamstress.
Wynne worked for CP Railway and later CN Rail for most of her working life and upon retirement continued working as a switchboard operator for a Toronto hotel well into her 70s. During World War 2, Wynne worked on bomber aircraft at the AVRO facility in Toronto as part of the war effort. As a family, we celebrate her life in its fullness and how it touched the lives of others. God bless our dear Aunt Wynne.
We miss you, we will always remember you and we love you!
Cremation has taken place.
