Obituary of WILLIAM BORASKI
BORASKI, William – Willie «Doc» Boraski passed away peacefully on January 27, 2019 at John Noble Home, just a few months after his sweetheart, Shirley. He will be sadly missed by his 4 children – Allan, Lynn, Bill and Wendy – and their partners, children and grandchildren. Willie was a tough, hard-working farmer, hunter, fisherman and card-player with a big heart. He and Shirley gave their children a wholesome, love-filled upbringing and never judged their life choices. He delighted in making anything he could from his vast collection of wood, or from odds and ends in the garage. He yodelled his way through life, never complained, and entertained everyone around him even as his dementia progressed. The family sincerely thanks the wonderful staff at John Noble Home and Golden Pond for the care they gave our father. Friends will be received at THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, 62 Main Street North, Waterford on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 from 6-9pm. A celebration of Willie’s life will be held in the chapel on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 11am. Rev. Mary Jo Patterson officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations in Willie’s name may be made to the charity of your choice.
