CARON, SOPHIA (nee Nikoruk)
1942-2019
The family announces with great sorrow her passing at the Timmins and District Hospital on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at the age of 76 years. Beloved wife of the late Maurice Caron. Cherished mother of Robert (Suzie) Caron of Timmins, Doris (Mark) Sawrie of Kentville, Nova Scotia and Marie (Rene) Dubien of Timmins. Grandmother of Maurice “Magoo” Caron, Cristal Caron, Rob Caron, Eric Sawrie, Lyne Sawrie, Laura Sawrie, Chris Sawrie, Tyler Robert Dubien and Brandon Maurice Dubien. Sophia also leaves behind numerous great grandchildren. Also left to mourn is sister Marie of St. Catharines. The family would like to thank Dave Martin for everything he’s done for Sophia and the family throughout the years, as well as Angie and Edie. Sophia is predeceased by her parents William and Dora and her siblings George, Elizabeth and John. As per her wishes cremation has taken place, and no formal funeral service will be held. Remembrance donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the
