Obituary of Richard Duck
Richard Ray Duck of Teeswater, passed away with family by his side, at Elgin Abbey, Chesley on Saturday, January 19th, 2019, at age 57.
Beloved husband of Margaret “Margie” Duck of Teeswater for 37 years.
Remembered by his children, Charlene “Chucky” Gross (Richard “Ricky”) of Hanover, Lisa Duck-Montag (Joe) of London and Travis “Jake” Duck (Angela) of Teeswater and grandchildren, Maggy Jo, Ella and Mavrick Gross, Juno and Adalina Montag and Deakin, Ava and Colt Duck.
Missed by his siblings, Dorothy Bell of Teeswater, Elaine Bester of Fordwich, Ellen Schmalz (Nook) of Mildmay, Donice Donaldson of Wingham, Creg Duck (Brenda) of Bluevale and Duane Duck (Brenda) of Listowel.
Also survived by mother-in-law Edith Willie of Teeswater, in-laws, Linda Hall of Teeswater, Joanne Beadle (John) of Walkerton and Earl Reinhardt of R. R. #2 Teeswater, several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents, Douglas and Nadene (née Wallace) Duck, father-in-law David Willie, sister-in-law Sandra Reinhardt and brother-in-law Rob Hall.
A celebration of Richard’s life will be held at the Teeswater Town Hall on Tuesday, January 22nd, 2019 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., with remembrances shared at 7:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Grey Bruce would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
