Matthew «Matt» Bourque
A much-loved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, friend and so much more, Matthew Bourque, age 28, of Listowel, Ontario, passed away peacefully at his home January 28, 2019 surrounded by his loved ones.
He is survived by his person Maegan MacCallum. His loving parents Charlene Bourque and Robert Kienapple. Brother to Daniel Bourque, Wife Heather Beckburger, Kyndra Kienapple and brother-in-law Jamie Dick. Uncle to Serenity Bourque. Aunt Lisa Kennedy and Husband Duncan, and Aunt Laurie Leach. Deeply missed by grandparents Ronald and Elizabeth Bourque, Minnie Bourque and Ross Kienapple. Matt is now with his biological father, Maurice Bourque.
Matt worked at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada in Cambridge for 7 years and worked his way up to Suspension Line Permanent Team Leader. He was passionate about his job and went above and beyond to show his determination, ability and respect for his peers.
Matt will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him. He was a very genuine person that anyone would be proud to call a friend.
In lieu of flowers, tune-up your car and check the air pressure in your tires – he would have wanted that.
Matt’s family will receive relatives and friends from 12-12:45 p.m. on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A Celebration of Matt’s Life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Sunday at 1 p.m. Reception to follow.
