Obituary for Mary Sawka
It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Mary Sawka of Edmonton, formerly of Thorhild, AB, on January 11, 2019, at the age of 98 years.
Mom will be remembered and missed by her children, Judy (Peter) Weicker, Gordon Sawka, Douglas (Sharon) Sawka and Randall (Nancy) Sawka; her grandchildren, Matthew Weicker, Evan Weicker, Derek (Danielle) Weicker, Michelle (Sean) Sawka, Melanie Sawka and Curtis Sawka; and her great-grandson, Nolan Sawka; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary was predeceased by her husband, Alex; daughter-in-law, Frances; grandson, Brett; and her sisters and brothers, Dora Bosowich, Annie Simms (Sempovich), Maggie Warwaruk, Pearl Florence, William Sawka, Annie Houg (Chaly), Olive Byford and Michael Sawka.

Funeral Service Saturday, February 9 at 2:00 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home, 16102 – Fort Road, NW, Edmonton, with interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens..
