It is with broken hearts that the family of the late
MARY M. FAREWELL of Marystown announces
her passing. Mrs. Farewell passed away at the Burin
Peninsula Health Care Centre on Friday, January
18th, 2019 at the age of
83. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories
are her sons, Tom (Sandra) of Calgary, AB, Jim (Bernardine) of Jean de
Baie, and Brian of Marystown; 3 grandchildren, Jillian (Lance) of
Burin, James Jr. of St. John’s, and Tiahana (Austin) of
Marystown; sister, Carmelita (Roland) of Marystown; sister-in-law,
Elizabeth Dober; special caregiver, Carmel of Creston; plus a large
circle of family and friends.
Mary was predeceased by
her parents, Peter & Beatrice Dober; husband, Thomas Farewell;
brothers, James and Joseph Dober; and sister, Margaret
Farrell.
The Farewell Family will be
accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Homes, Marystown on
Sunday, January 20th, from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm;
with a prayer vigil being held at 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian
Burial will take place on Monday, January
21st at 10:00 am from Sacred Heart
Roman Catholic Church,
Marystown.
Cremation to
follow.
