Mary Davidson (nee Peters), aged 91, passed into the presence of her Saviour on January 3, 2019, in Foothills Hospital, Calgary, Alberta. She was the middle child of 15 children born to Frank and Helena Peters of Warman, Saskatchewan. Her schooling was taken in Warman and at age 21, she met and married Glenn Davidson of Rutland, Saskatchewan. It was on a farm there that they raised five children. She was a hard worker who loved the outdoors, driving the grain truck during harvest, picking berries, gardening, and birdwatching. She lived to play board games and do crafts, but her main love was her children and later on her grandchildren and then great grandchildren. She had a strong love for her Lord and was happy to share her faith with those around her. She spent her final years in Airdrie, Alberta, where she was happy to spend time with family and friends. She is survived by her children
Sylvia Storey (Don), Glenda Davidson, Marilyn Magnus (Jim), Terri Cowan (Rick) and Curtis Davidson (Rhonda), along with sixteen grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and four siblings. She was pre-deceased by her husband and 10 siblings. A service to honour Mary‘s life will be held at Grace Baptist Church, 1009 East Lake Blvd. NE, Airdrie, Alberta on Wednesday, January 9 at 2:00PM. Interment will take place the following day at the Pleasant View Cemetery in Unity, Saskatchewan at 2:00PM local time, everyone welcome.
