It is with loving memory that we wish to announce the passing of Marie Wagner on January 15, 2019 at the age of 98. Marie was born in Lithuania and came to Canada in 1952. She loved and was loved by her family. Marie is survived by sons Harry (Mary) and Edgar; sister Erna Aug in Germany; sister-in-law Maria Ernst; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her husband Otto, son Wilfred, and most of her siblings. She was a cherished mother and grandmother and distributor of cookies to her great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Service celebrating the life of Marie Wagner will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 21, 2019 at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, 11223 – 51 Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, Canadian Lutheran World Relief, or the charity of your choice.
