Obituary
Loretta was born in the family home on Davie Street in Vancouver on July 16, 1922. She passed away peacefully on January 7, 2019 and is now reunited with her beloved husband Tom who predeceased her in 1996. She was also predeceased by her sister Juliette McKay, brothers-in-law Raymond McKay and Walter Jeffery, sister-in-law Rita Boivin, and nephew Lawrence McKay.
Loretta is survived by her devoted daughters Aileen, Denise and Mary and sons-in-law Bruce Ford and Ray Westman; sister Donna Jeffery and brother Raymond Boivin; brother-in-law Fred Findlay and wife Diane; 13 nieces and nephews and their families.
Loretta was an active member of St. Helen’s Catholic Parish, 3860 Triumph Street, Burnaby since childhood, where services will be held: visitation on Sunday, January 13 at 4 pm followed by prayers at 5 pm; funeral Mass on Monday, January 14 at 11 am, followed by interment at Forest Lawn then a reception back at the church.
Her family thanks the wonderful and caring staff of Belvedere Care Home for the TLC they showered on Mom the last two years of her life.
