Secord, Lois Kathryn (Welstead) – With much sadness and many happy memories, Lois Kathryn Secord (nee Welstead) passed away peacefully, at Tufford Nursing Home on Tuesday January 1st, 2019 at the age of 97. Predeceased by her beloved husband Wallace (Wally) Secord, son Charles E. Secord, and son in law James Roger Reid. Survived and missed by her daughters Judith K. Reid of Fonthill and Sharon E. Secord of Waterloo. Sister of the late Charlotte (Roger) Whitty, Gordon (Mary) Welstead, Mary (George) McKay, Dorothy (Robert) Holland, Ruth (Per) Saxvik and Stanley (Margaret) Welstead. Sister- in-law of the late Flora (Hugh) Davidson, James E. (Rene) Secord and Mabel (Larry) Bembridge. Dear Sister-in-law of Robert Holland. Survived by several nieces and nephews. At Lois`s request cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will take place at a later date. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Luce and the staff of Tufford Nursing Home for their wonderful care. If so desired, a donation can be made to a charity of one`s choice.
