Lina LeBlanc
1922-2019
Lina LeBlanc, 96, of Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche and
formerly of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, passed away peacefully, surrounded
by her family at the Manoir on Monday January 28, 2019. She was
married to the late Eric LeBlanc (1985). Born in
Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, she was the daughter of the late Antoine and the
late Marie-Jeanne (Babineau) Maillet.
She will be sadly missed by her fifteen children; Ella Cormier
(Clarence Melanson), Léa Gaudet (Joe), Odette Cormier (Gerry
McGraw) all of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, Noëlla Melanson (Paul),
Adrienne Goguen of Cocagne, Anna Babineau (Raymond) of Shediac River,
Yvette LeBlanc (Donald), Anise LeBlanc of Moncton, Louise Bourgeois
(Robert) of Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, Fernande LeBlanc (Darrell Weaver) of
Irishtown, Aldéo (Lucille) of Moncton, Ronald (Oscar), Roger, Ola
of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, Maurice (Suzanne) of Moncton, her twenty-two
grandchildren, thirty-three great grandchildren and two great great
grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn two brothers; Gerard
(Roseline) of Saint-Antoine and Alderice of Irishtown as well as
several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by one son Jean-Paul, one grandson Ricky, two
sisters; Maria and Irène as well as six brothers; Yvon, Ernest,
Eddie, Jean-Baptiste, Lionel and Father Alfred.
Visitations will be held at the Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman
Catholic Church Slumber Room, Sainte-Marie-de-Kent on Thursday January
31, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 6:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at
the Sainte-Marie-de-Kent Church on Thursday Jaruary 31, 2019 at 7:00
pm with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
In Lina’s memory, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke
Foundation.
