Ferguson, Leonard John
January 15, 1930 to January 1, 2019
Peacefully in his 89th year, Leonard passed away at home with his loving wife Merily at his side. Predeceased by his children Eva and John, Len will be dearly missed by children Shari, Scott and Tammy, his grandchildren Justin, Kristin, Keri, Sarah, Marissa and Lynsay as well as all of his great grandchildren and his beloved sister Bernice.
A proud Hamilton Tigercat supporter, Len was also dedicated to helping others and spent more
than 15 years helping to raise money for the Salvation Army kettle fund and will be fondly remembered for his distinctive laugh and smile.
At Len’s request, cremation has already taken place. A visitation will be held at Laidlaw United Church on Tuesday January 15th from 10 to 11am with service and reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to Laidlaw Church for their new ramp would be appreciated.
