It is with great regret that we announce the death of Lee Delano Doran, who died suddenly at Toronto General Hospital on December 20th/2018.
Lee was predeceased by his father Willis, and his mother Priscilla. Lee leaves to mourn his life partner, Ross Warren, his brother Philip Doran (Kathleen) and his children, Janet Bishop and Jared Doran, their children and grandchildren, along with his lifelong friend whom Lee considered his sister, Jane Bracy. Lee will also be missed by his many colleagues from his working career, and his friends from around the country, that are too numerous to mention.
Lee will be greatly missed by everyone he touched for his unique sense of humor, and his devotion to the people he loved.
It was Lee’s wish that after passing away, he would be cremated without further ceremony.
Anyone wishing to make a donation in his name may do so at the Toronto Public Library, one of his favorite places to be which always offered him great inspiration, and comfort being around so many books that he loved.
