It is with very heavy hearts we announce the passing of Lloyd Howard Lalonde. Born May 24, 1951 and passed very unexpectedly at home January 17, 2019.
His loss has left a giant hole in all of our hearts. He was always ready to listen and loved to help others. He always wanted to make sure everyone was happy. Lloyd was very close to his children, grandchildren, and siblings. He would make a point to call each of them once a week to check in on everyone.
Lloyd leaves many who loved him dearly; his spouse Robin Tadgell and their two sons Eric and Patrick as well as Natacha Treskin and their two daughters Catherine (Adam Dunn) and Nadia (Brendan Lowe). His grandchildren Olivia and Isabelle (Catherine and Adam’s children) and Gavrielle and Easton (Nadia and Brendan’s children) and will miss him watching their swim meets, camping, gymnastic competitions and visits to the park.
Lloyd was the eldest of five children born to William Arnold Lalonde and Marie-Claire Beauchamp. He was very close with them all and spoke to them every week. Dennis and Sandy (Jody, Anne-Marie, Alex and Stacey), Susan and Jim (Kimberly and Sean), Donald and Dawn (Joshua, Andrew, Amanda, Trisha and Eddie) and Larry and Sheila (Christopher and Jonathan). He also has many great nieces and nephews who will cherish their memories of him from their last visit together.

Visitation Friday, February 8th from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, February 9th from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m.
Funeral Service on Saturday February 9th at 10 a.m.
Reception 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Red Cross Canada where Lloyd worked for the past seven years.

Please accept my sincerest condolences for your sudden loss. Lloyd was a very nice person and I will have fond memories of talking to him at the baseball fields where our sons played.
