Obituary of Joseph Cox
Joe passed away peacefully at QHC-Belleville General Hospital on Monday, January 14th, 2019, with family by his side, in his 85th year. Son of the late William and Lola (nee Stapley) Cox. Beloved husband of Shelba (nee Lott) of Belleville. Loving father of Randall (Deborah) Cox of Burk’s Falls, Cathy (Barry) Reed and Carolyn (Clifford) Brant both of Belleville. Proud grandfather of Tyler (Heather), Lauren (James), Benjamin (Alicia), Jana (Greg), Brandon (Krystal), Dylan (Brittany) and Owen and of 12 great grandchildren. Joe is survived by his sisters, Vivian Hannah of Belleville, Gloria Wood of Pincher Creek, AB and Linda Curtis of Belleville and by his brother-in-law, Bob Deline of Foxboro. He is predeceased by his sisters, Betty Pell, Dorothy Bowler, Annie Thompson and Patricia Deline and by his brothers, Eugene and Bill Cox. The family will receive friends at the Steele Funeral Home, Moira Street Chapel, 30 Moira Street West (613-968-2273) on Thursday, January 17th from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Calvary Community Church, 679 Dundas Street West, Belleville on Friday, January 18th, 2019 at 12:00 noon. Interment to follow at Belleville Cemetery. If desired, Memorial Donations to Grace Inn Shelter would be appreciated.
