Joseph Pierre Germain Richard
Richard, Joseph Pierre Germaine – It is with great sadness that the family of Pierre announces his passing on Thursday January 17, 2019 at the age of 63. Beloved husband of Sherry Richard (nee Parker). Cherished father of Joey, Eric, Phillippe, Jonathan and Katelyn. Lovely remembered by daughter-in-law Desiree and grandchildren Lily and Jimmy. Pierre will fondly be remembered by his siblings Sylvio (Nicole), Denise (Andre), Gisele (Bob), Jacques, Jacqueline, Pierrette (Faisal), Carmen (Annette), Monique (Jeff) ,Rene (Linda) and Rolland. Missed by his in-laws Linda (Bill), Laurie(Gary) , William (Krista) and Jodi . Predeceased by his parents Philippe Richard, Beatrice Richard and siblings Reine-Aimee, Serge and Therese and parent in-laws Gladys and Ralph Parker. Special thanks to Linda, Bill, Laurie and Gary for all their support during these hard times, and the extra care received from Mandi and the CCAC nurses Kim and Jocelyne.
In keeping with Pierre’s wishes cremation has taken place. Family will receive friends at the H.L. Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland, Ontario on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 , at 10am with a celebration of Pierre’s life to follow at 11am in the Cudney Chapel. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to either the Walker Family Cancer Centre or The Canadian Diabetes Association and would be greatly appreciated by the family.
