Jessie A. Howard
1931 – 2019
Jessie Agnes Howard, wife of the late Mark S. Howard Sr. of the Miramichi Senior Citizens Home passed away at her residence on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at the age of 87.
Born in Craigville, NB, on May 3, 1931, she was the daughter of the late James and Ruby Murphy. She was a homemaker, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Royal Canadian Legion and attended St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Miramichi.
Jessie is survived by her daughter: Debra Howard of Scarborough, ON; sons: Mark Howard (Debra) of Orlando, FL and Larry Howard of Toronto, ON; grandchildren: Amanda Howard of Daytona, FL and Nicholas Howard of Toronto, ON; brothers: Robert Murphy (Margaret) and Randall Murphy all of Miramichi. She was predeceased by her parents, husband: Mark S. Howard Sr., sisters: Romana Matthews, Alta Greenough and Betty Forest.
Visitation will be held at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., Miramichi on Monday, January 21, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Miramichi on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 11am with Rev. Perry Cooper officiating. Interment will be held in St. James United Church Cemetery later in the spring.
