Jean Ann Stewart
1926-2019
The death occurred at the Palliative Care Unit of
Moncton City Hospital on Friday, January 25, 2019 of Jean Ann Stewart
of Riverview, NB, aged 92, wife of the late Thomas Stewart. Jean was
born in Burton, Lot 7 on June 2, 1926, daughter of the late Wilfred
& Eva (Coughlin) Dalton.
Cherished mom to Patsy Read, Moncton; Becky (Ray) McIsaac,
Amherst, NS; Judie, Moncton; Betty Lou (Terry) Remington, Moncton and
Ryan, Moncton. Loving grandmother to Jessica, Matthew, Billy , Tommy,
Katie, Christopher, Paul, Sean and Sam. Special great grandmother to
Alyssa, Kayla, Hunter, Emma, Logan and Trent.
Jean was predeceased by her parents, husband Tommy (1999),
daughter Carol Ann, son in law Gary Read, granddaughter Annie Mae
Strangirs, brothers Stanley, Basil, Gerald, Howard, sisters Edna and
Stella.
Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel,
O’Leary with Funeral Mass on Saturday January 26, 2019 at 3
pm at St. Mark’s Roman Catholic Church, Burton, Lot 7.
Interment in the spring in the parish cemetery.
In memory of Jean, memorials to a charity of your choice
would be appreciated.
There is not enough words to express our gratitude to the
wonderful staff at Lakeview Manor, who have cared for mom for the past
several years. Dr Nayak and all the doctors and nurses in emergency
and on 3600 at the Moncton City Hospital. The compassion and care was
extortionary.
