It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jane on January 1, 2019 in the presence of her daughters at the age of 62 after a short and difficult struggle with pancreatic cancer. She was predeceased by her beloved husband and best friend of 35 years, Bruce, before his sudden death in 2015. Devoted mother of Pamela (Adam) and Amanda (Kyle). Cherished Atho (grandmother) of Eric, Robyn and Malia. Dear sister of Jack (Krista) and loving aunt to Graham and Mitchell. Jane was an at home mom for all the years her girls lived at home, and worked part time at Buy The Yard Interiors for 15 years. Her girls and grandchildren were her greatest passion. After gladly “living in the shadow” of her husband for 35 years, once he passed her family was able to see how truly strong she was. We saw her shine more brightly and got to know her in a way we couldn’t while he was alive. She was truly gifted at supporting Bruce, Pamela and Amanda in an incredibly selfless way. We loved her very much. Visitation at BAY GARDENS FUNERAL HOME, 1010 Botanical Drive, Burlington (905-527-0405) on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 5pm to 9pm. Cremation has taken place.
