Isabelle Leonora Yeo
December 11, 1921 – January 2, 2019
YEO, Isabelle (Shortreed, McMullen)
Passed away at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 in her 98th year.
Wife of the late Oliver McMullen (1979) and John Yeo (2006). Predeceased by her parents Robert (1946) and Harriett Moody (1947), her daughter Jane Radloff (1984), son Bill McMullen (1979), brother Harry Shortreed (1993), sister-in-law Alice Shortreed (2008), infant niece Barbara (1958) and nephew Robert (2010). Survived by grandsons David (Deborah) Radloff and Paul Radloff, two great-grandchildren Cedric and Leah Radloff, niece Joan (Dave) and sons Andrew and Jeffrey Walsh. Also remembered by her special friend Donalda and her granddaughter Kathryn in Calgary.
Isabelle served as a sergeant in the Canadian Women’s Army Corps during WW II and was employed for many years at Bryan Donkin Company, Woodstock. She was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church.
Visitation will be held at Coutts Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge on Sunday, January 6, 2019 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, January 7, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev Mark McLennan officiating. Spring interment Presbyterian Cemetery, Woodstock. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
