Gordon Douglas Crown
Crown, Gordon Douglas – It is with great sadness that Gordon’s family announces his passing on Saturday January 12, 2019 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Phyllis Crown. Cherished father to Colleen (Duncan) Foot, Heather Crown, Billy (Leigh-ann) Crown, Michael Crown, Melinda Hopkins and Heather Delaat. Gordon was the adoring grandfather of Gavin, Tyler, Sarah, Rachel, Royce, Kylie, Hudson and proud great grandfather of Conor and Liam. He will be fondly remembered by many friends, as well as many at General Motors. A special thank you to Dr Rene de Wet of Welland, Dr. Anjani Kundi and the staff at extended Care Unit for the Care and compassion that Gordon received while in your care. May you happily fish for all eternity dear Gord.
In keeping with Gordon’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of life will take place in the spring and the family will notify everyone at that time.. Arrangements have been entrusted to H.L. Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland, Ontario. Donations to the Welland County Humane Society in memory of Gordon would be appreciated by the family.
I pray that I may live to fish
Until my dying day
And when it comes to my last cast,
