Glenney, Joseph Dwight. Peacefully, with family by his side at the age of 75 on Sunday January 27, 2019 at the Haldimand War Memorial Hospital, Dunnville.
Dwight Glenney beloved husband to Frieda for 51 joy and wonder filled years. Loving father to Darren and Glynis and proud and loving Grandpa to Haydn (Jessica) and Hannahmay (Jesse). Lovingly remembered by his brothers Harold and his wife Norma, Wayne and his wife June and brother-in-law Bill Sheldrake. Predeceased by his parents Lloyd and Hazel, sisters Donna Hoover (Freddie +), Elsie Sheldrake, Pat Howley (Glen +), and Betty Pudwill (Glen +, Ed +). Sadly missed by his nieces, nephews and their families.
After many years of service at INCO, Dwight pursued his interest in farming and gardening on his home farm. Working ground, tinkering in the shop and tending to the garden and a few animals. He was a dedicated fan and could be seen at the arena for games and practices as well as on the road ensuring his grandkids got to their games on time. Most of all he loved his family and enjoyed and appreciated having them in his life daily.
Visitation at JW Hart Funeral Home, Dunnville on Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Private family interment at Zion Cemetery with a Celebration of Dwight’s Life Wednesday January 30, 2019 at 12:00 noon(ish) at Bethany United Church, 180 Carter Road Dunnville.
