Obituary of Fern Gill
Gill, Lillian «Fern» – of Blenheim, passed away at Riverview Gardens, Chatham, on Tuesday January 8, 2019, age 92.
Born in Harwich Township to parents the late Allan Claude and Ethel Madgeline (nee Caws) Hartford.
Loving wife of the late Grant Gill (d. 1989).
Beloved mother of Corrie and wife Donna Gill of Erie Beach, Drew and wife Lawrie Gill of Wallaceburg and Reid and wife Lori-Lee Gill of Blenheim.
Grandmother of Byron (Lisa Lane-Gill) Gill, Stacey (Craig) Clark, Jennifer (John) Laprise, Katie (Matthew) Blackburn, Tyler Gill, Kyle Gill and the late Terry Gill (d. 2001).
Great-Grandmother of Evan, Grady, Kayla, Gavin, Ashton and Kaylee.
Predeceased also by her brother James Hartford and infant sister Brenda.
Fern worked at the Southwest Regional Centre for 13 years in the Dietary Department. She was a former member of the Crochette Club in Chatham.
Visitation will be held at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park St., Blenheim, on Saturday January 12, 2019 at 11am and will be followed by the Funeral Service at 12pm with the Rev. Bill Terris as Officiant. Burial to follow in the Burk Cemetery.
