1931-2019
At the Prince County Hospital Summerside on Wednesday January
30, 2019 of Evelyn M. Mayne of Emerald aged 87 years. Born
in Pleasant Valley, July 31, 1931 daughter of the late Richard and
Mary Elizabeth (MacLeod) Smith. Wife of the late Fenton
Mayne. Mother of Cynthia Mayne and Karen (Gordon) Mullins.
Grandmother of Ryan, Olivia and Spencer.
Sister of Laura Smith. Sister-in-law of Mary Smith and
Dorothy Smith. Also surviving are several nieces and
nephews.
Predeceased by her two sons Paul and Grant. Sisters Barbara
(Robin) LaGrandeur, Ruby (Herb) Gill, Mae (John) MacLennan,
Ruth (Clarence) Reeves, brothers Willa, Gerald (Georgie),
Claude, Charles, Ralph, Roy and George Smith. Sisters-in-law and
brothers in law Elsie Mayne, Verna (Lindsay)Sharpe, Evelyn (Harold)
Yeo, Winston (Jean) Mayne, Herman (Margaret) Mayne, Leeland
(Violet) Mayne, Florence (Harland) Day and Wendell
(Georgie) Mayne.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation
on Saturday from 1- 3 p.m. followed by the funeral in the
Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 3:15 p.m. Interment in the Summerfield
United Church Cemetery. If so desired contributions may be
made to The Summerfield United Cemetery.
The funeral will be available to watch live on the funeral
