Obituary of Elsa Van Lingen
Van Lingen, Elsa (Hoogsteen)
August 21, 1946 – January 28, 2019
Elsa passed away at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Monday, January 28, 2019 at the age of 72. She is survived by her husband Fred and beloved and loving son Darryl (Sheri) and beloved grandchildren Deven and Megan. She is also survived by her siblings, Ted Hoogsteen (Jayne), Wayne Hoogsteen, Corrie Hooghiem (Jack), Betsy Dieleman (Case), Stuart Hoogsteen (Mary Lou), and Theresa Nixon.
Predeceased by her beloved sons Dwayne (1986)and Robert (1991)and Sister Wilma (2017), by her father, Wierd Hoogsteen (2000) and mother, Jantje Hoogsteen (De Boer 2009) and sister-in-law Aafke Hoogsteen (2014).
She was a faithful member of the Aylmer Christian Reformed Church and manager and resident of Heritage Place on Caverly Road in Aylmer. Elsa will be remembered for her friendly smile and her devotion to her family.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer. The funeral service will be held at the Aylmer Christian Reformed Church on Friday, February 1, 2019 at 1:00 pm. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
